Happy New Year!

We hope everyone had a wonderful and restful break! Ours was not as restful as we would have liked but we got a lot accomplished. The reception hall is booked at the Wells County Community Center, at the 4-H park. If you haven't been there it is huge...plenty of dancing space ;-) We also booked the DJ...Stylus is the name of the company. They are from Bluffton. We got a few smaller details taken care of as well. Now it is time for you all to get busy...at least for a little bit. The girls need to be getting their dresses soon so we can allow time for alterations. January 30th looks promising. I want to check out the prices for Some-Wear on Main in Fort Wayne, otherwise we will probably be going to David's.

Guys, we will probably be renting your tux's from Men's Wearhouse. Keep in the back of your minds that you need to have your tux's ordered/rented/whatever by JUNE 1ST. I realize that is about 5 months away but I wanted to give you a heads up for when you will need to have the time and the money to get them.

Bridesmaids

With the wedding only being roughly nine months away (253 days give or take), I am going to be extremely busy trying to get as much accomplished over break as I possibly can. If you girls could help me out that would be awesome! I’m not planning on getting your dresses until January or February. However, if you could all get some ideas of what you would like to wear and send me some pictures or just bring them when we go that you be a huge time saver. From talking to you individually I think it will be easy coming up with a dress you will all like. Still, bring ideas so we can make sure we are all on the same page. I am thinking about having them knee length-ish but as far as style, that is partially up to you. :-) Also, I wanted to let you girls know that I am letting you decide what song the wedding party will dance to. The guys can gripe all they want but in the end all they will say is "I don't care. Whatever." So start thinking about that as well. I'll let you know when we need the final decision but keep that at the back of your minds. It can be slow, fast, whatever, but I am turning that over to you three!

We're gonna get married!

Hey everyone! Ben and I just want to take this moment to thank you for being a part of our big day. We picked you because you have been there for us through-out life and through-out our relationship. You have heard our joys and our gripes, and you have been there when being away from each other was too much. Thanks again for everything! We are so excited to start our new life together as husband and wife, and we are glad we get to share that moment with you. Okay, enough of the sappy stuff. P.S. For those of you who might not have gotten the memo yet, we moved the date up a year! The reason? (No, I am not pregnant!) Ben and I have decided it would be beneficial for us to have him stay in the Army. When he signs on again, he is only guaranteed one year in one place and we wanted to make sure that he would be close by when it got close to the wedding. If you want more details, we’ll be glad to give them to you.
